Book Design: Birds of Southern California

(Independent Project) Birdwatching Association of America

The aim of this project was to create a modernized, stylish, and legible birding guide without straying too far from aesthetic norms of the genre. I settled on a minimal sky blue and white color palette, as well as a geometric layout that I thought paired nicely with the artwork.
