In 2018, I was honored to participate in a collaboration between CalArts and UN Women’s HeForShe initiative. As one of 13 student filmmakers selected for the project, I created an original animated short examining gender stereotypes and drawing attention to the persistent issue of gender inequality. The films premiered at the annual HeForShe Summit, held in conjunction with the United Nations General Assembly in New York City.
